Workforce modelling & industry leadership
Scarlatti uses unique modelling techniques to perform industry workforce
analysis. This analysis provides an analytical foundation for broader industry
strategy & planning advice and is incorporated into advocacy and
communication materials for industry leaders.
- Workforce modelling - Scarlatti uses a workforce modelling
tool we have developed known as Inchworm (Industry Characterisation of
Workforce Model). This tool allows us to characterise and model changes to a
specific industry's workforce and to assess the probable impact of various
interventions/events on that workforce over time. Examples of the type of
analysis Inchworm can generate include ascertaining the effect of different
training strategies on industry skill levels or projecting the impact of
changing migration patterns on skill availability. Workforces can be broken
down and analysed along a range of narrower characteristics such as employer
type, specific job role or geographical region.
- Industry leadership - Scarlatti translates the results of
its workforce modelling into incisive and actionable strategic advice for
industry bodies and other relevant stakeholders looking to take on an industry
leadership role. Our rigorous analytical approach provides a fresh perspective
on existing assumptions and beliefs as well as revealing novel insight into
current and future industry issues.
- Communication & advocacy - Scarlatti incorporates its
analysis and strategic advice into high-impact communication materials to help
our clients influence decision-makers and other stakeholders in government
and/or industry. Our point of difference is the use of rigorous analysis to
underpin arguments being made and a clear communication approach to make these
arguments clear, effective and persuasive.
